While makeup is awesome and skincare is addictive, beauty is not my life. It’s actually a very small part of how I spend my free time! As obsessed as you may be with Sephora or Ulta, I know you have a life outside of the makeup world. Without going so far as sharing social media diary entries about my personal life, I want to be authentic about what I post on my blog. I’ll still post plenty about makeup and beauty, but I want to start to share some other interests. The strength of her individualism surprises us, but when we realize that “she” is “me,” a lovely little sense of empowerment seeps into every aspect of our lives. A true Venusian is offbeat– she is no one’s but her own.
