Makeup is EXPENSIVE. I visit Sephora’s website way too often, and the pretty new products always tempt me. I have Sephora Rouge status as proof of my obsession! While I love splurging on new makeup, it’s not exactly a budget-friendly interest. I’ve been trying to be more cautious about what I purchase — reading reviews, waiting for sales, and taking a good look at whether I’d really get good use out of it. Sephora has an option for you to tag products to a “Loves List,” so basically a Pinterest board for makeup. Recently, I’ve watched quite a few Youtubers share their Sephora Loves List and it’s interesting to see what everyone adds and why. I thought it would be fun to share mine! I firmly believe that there are two moods: happy and in-the-mood-to-listen-to-Sufjan-Stevens. This year, I’ve been trying to expand my music library. I thought I’d share some of my favorite music, both old favorites and newly discovered, so that you can discover new artists and push your boundaries. My taste in music is all over the place, but you can find a lot of alternative, dreamy, and cross-genre tunes in my library. Happy Listening! Continue reading “New Music – February Discover Playlist”
I have found 1, maybe 2, concealers that don’t make my dry, crinkly under eyes look 20 years more mature than they actually are. I tend to stick to my Maybelline Age Rewind concealer because it looks like skin without completely drying me out. It doesn’t hurt that it’s relatively inexpensive, either. Before finding the Maybelline concealer, I probably tried hundreds of overpriced eye creams and gimmicky correctors/concealers. Then, the Becca Bright Eyes Collection started popping up all over the place. I was hesitant until I saw the pictures and the reviews. Before and after shots showed eye bags miraculously de-puffing and smoothing out, and the reviews seemed to corroborate the claims. With low expectations but a lot of optimism, I ordered the Becca Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer from Sephora and anxiously awaited my package’s arrival.
