Happy Friday! I don’t know about the rest of you, but here in the South we are basking in beautiful, sunny, and temperate weather. As the sun’s rays pry through the remains of winter’s frost, I’ve been enjoying quite a few new things in life. Continue reading “Favorites of the Moment – Beauty + Beyond”
I usually like to share posts like this one at the end of the week on a Friday, but I already have an exciting post scheduled for this Friday. This week’s favorites are all over the place, from brand new products to interesting news about galaxies. Continue reading “Current Favorites || Beauty and Beyond”
While makeup is awesome and skincare is addictive, beauty is not my life. It’s actually a very small part of how I spend my free time! As obsessed as you may be with Sephora or Ulta, I know you have a life outside of the makeup world. Without going so far as sharing social media diary entries about my personal life, I want to be authentic about what I post on my blog. I’ll still post plenty about makeup and beauty, but I want to start to share some other interests. I’m pretty low maintenance with my hair. Having fine, straight hair, this can be a little bit problematic if I want to be low maintenance but not look like a my hair is greased down to the sides of my face. I’ve figured out that my haircut makes a major difference in my ability to do less with my mop — I like to keep it shorter and add volume and texture with layering. To be honest, many days it’s just wash-and-go, but for when I’m feeling extra motivated, I have a roster of tried and true products and tools for achieving an easy ‘do. I feel like I haven’t made any updates recently, other than a few posts here and there. I’ve made some changes to my social media presence, so my contact info is reflected with a new domain (woohoo!) and Facebook page. I also wanted to summarize some of my current favorites — beauty products, miscellaneous things, and influencers. Are any of yours on the list?
