Along with the change in wardrobe comes a change in the way we present our faces. Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette || Love Letters to my Favorite Beauty Products

Eyeshadow is something I spend WAY too much money on. Let’s be honest — if a brand packages eyeshadow in a semi-appealing way, I’m already in line to buy it. The result is rather worrisome. I have stacks and stacks of eyeshadow palettes that contain almost indiscernible shades as well as a drawer full of once-used eyeshadow singles. Unfortunately, eyeshadow is over-collected and underused. I’d like to take a moment to step outside of my mindless consumerism and write a love letter to an eyeshadow palette that I *do* use every day.  Continue reading “Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette || Love Letters to my Favorite Beauty Products”

5 Reasons You Should Use an Agenda or a Planner || Organization Tips

I always encourage the use of a planner, specifically a pen-and-paper iteration. New Music: March Discover Playlist

This year, I’ve been trying to expand my music library. I pretty much exclusively use Spotify Premium to stream new music because it’s convenient and cost-efficient, so I find myself discovering new music through the individualized weekly Discover Playlists. I thought I’d share some of my favorite music, both old favorites and newly discovered, so that you can discover new artists and push your boundaries. My taste in music is all over the place, but you can find a lot of alternative, dreamy, and cross-genre tunes in my library. This playlist includes a bit more indie and rock. Happy Listening! I’ve been on a drugstore kick as of recent. When I received notification that I’d be getting a Covergirl Vox Box from Influenster, I was excited to see if I would find a new addition to my affordable makeup arsenal. The Vox Box included the Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Concealer in Fair, Healthy Powder in Classic Ivory, and Healthy Glow Highlighter in Starshine. So the burning question: is any of it good?  Continue reading “Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Concealer, Powder, and Highlight || Makeup Review & Try-On”

Haircare Favorites: Products & Styling Tools for the Perfect ‘Do

I’m pretty low maintenance with my hair. Having fine, straight hair, this can be a little bit problematic if I want to be low maintenance but not look like a my hair is greased down to the sides of my face. I’ve figured out that my haircut makes a major difference in my ability to do less with my mop — I like to keep it shorter and add volume and texture with layering. To be honest, many days it’s just wash-and-go, but for when I’m feeling extra motivated, I have a roster of tried and true products and tools for achieving an easy ‘do.  Continue reading “Haircare Favorites: Products & Styling Tools for the Perfect ‘Do”
