I went years without lifting a finger or even coming close to purchasing a Too Faced eyeshadow palette, but after snagging the original Chocolate Bar palette for $25 at Sephora it’s been all downhill. I love the quality and shade selection of Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar and scented palette collection. Ulta recently offered a 35% discount on a limited selection of Too Faced palettes, so of course I had to take advantage. I added the delicious and rich Chocolate Gold palette to my collection and couldn’t be happier. Continue reading “Too Faced Eyeshadow Palettes: Chocolate Gold”
If you’ve ever stood above an empty suitcase the night before a big vacation, this is a post for you (and for me!). Recently, I visited Mexico with my family. If you’ve been following my blog, you’ve probably already read some posts pertaining to this vacation. If not, well, be sure to go check them out! Anyway, I wanted to share some of the outfits I packed to serve as a base point for your packing list. These are clothes that are versatile, comfortable, and well-suited for a beach vacation!
I’m going on a little vacation in a couple of weeks, so I’ve been especially interested in all of the summer style trends. All of the breezy and colorful pieces have caught my eye. I have absolutely been swooning over pastel rainbow stripes! There’s a one-piece swimsuit from Tularosa that I’ve seen Patricia Bright wear as a bodysuit under denim shorts that has sort of sparked my obsession with this pastel pattern. While I have a strange emotional attachment to this piece, it’s $178 — I can’t justify spending that on something I will likely wear one time. To quell this unrequited love, I’ve looked into some other more affordable alternatives that I want to share.
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a Swedish brand called CaseApp about testing out its products. I was so grateful for the opportunity to design my own iPhone case and MacBook skin for free! On the website, the brand showcases designs from amazing artists. There are hundreds of super cute designs to choose from; you can add your own text and images to make them your own. Plus, you can choose the correct size for all of your devices. Keep reading to see my designs and a discount code so YOU can try it out for yourself!
How cute are these cacti prints? I love how soft and minimal the design is. I decided to add just the tiniest bit of customization by placing my initials on the cases; I love how it makes it uniquely mine without being overly in-your-face.
The design I chose for my iPhone 7 case ($34USD) was The Single Cactus by Amity Price. For my MacBook Pro Retina 13″ 2015 skin ($29USD), I chose The Mexican Cactus design by the same artist. It’s awesome to be able to see the artist and browse through all of his/her designs!
My experience with CaseApp was awesome- the marketing contact I spoke with was so kind, easy to work with, and well-versed.
CaseApp offers sizing for many different generations of products — Apple iPhones, MacBooks, Android phones…
I received my products within a week from the time I placed my order, which is pretty quick for a custom order. As far as pricing, I think the products are worth the higher price tag because of the awesome design choices and ability to customize.
A LITTLE TREAT FOR YOU
Do you like these designs? I’m very happy with the way they turned out. If you want to check CaseApp out for yourself, I’m excited to share a discount code with you. Use code OFFBEAT20 at checkout for 20% off your purchase!

Blush pink is one of the most versatile colors to wear throughout the changing seasons. I wore it all through winter and I’ll be wearing it all through this summer. During a little retail therapy session, I picked up the cutest pair of blush pink shoes (ON SALE!) that I’ll be reaching for through the work week and the weekend. I also picked up a couple of other things for the sunny weather, so I felt inspired to share this mini summer inspo post.
