Colorful highlights are so pretty in photographs. Not that they’re unappealing or lacking in real life, but they tend to be less wearable than our neutral tones. I’ve been loving the glittery pink glow given by Colourpop Cosmetics’ Super Shock Cheek in Over the Moon, so I decided to create a wearable look using this disco-worthy highlighter.
‘Chella season is upon us. Whilst scrolling through impossibly perfect pictures of celebs at the festival, I’ve noticed the beauty trends are quite polarized this year. Some went FULL GLAM festival crazy, but more than a few went with a natural desert glow. I wanted to try the latter, so here’s a super wearable look that’ll take you from pool party to weekend festival. Continue reading “Wearable Peachy Glow Festival Makeup Look”
Khaki and olive green tones are so flattering on a spread of complexions. If you’re like me and love a good neutral look, the green-based neutral color can really add a twist to an otherwise boring color palette. Summer is usually the time when most break out the bright colors, but I was in the mood to try something a little different. A couple of days ago, I posted a poll on my Instagram Story asking whether people would be more interested in seeing my collection of blushes or highlighters. Keep an eye out for more posts like this in the future, but without further ado, let’s see all the highlighters I have! Continue reading “My Makeup Collection – Highlighters”
I have a love-hate relationship with Spring. The colors, the greenery, and the molting of the winter air make me feel like a brand new person. MAC comes out with so many amazing limited edition collections and collaborations. It’s hard to keep track of all of them, but every once in a while, the packaging or colorways really catch my eye. When the Fruity Juicy collection released last year, I was so intrigued by the colorful packaging and the special edition (now permanent) scented Fix +. You can imagine my excitement when I saw the Fruity Juicy Pearlmatte powder at my Cosmetics Company Store (discounted Estee Lauder brand makeup) for 30% off outlet price! I also picked up some other goodies, but I wanted to share this find because it’s just such a wonderful product. Continue reading “MAC Fruity Juicy Collection: Oh My, Passion Pearlmatte Powder”
