Blush pink is one of the most versatile colors to wear throughout the changing seasons. I wore it all through winter and I’ll be wearing it all through this summer. During a little retail therapy session, I picked up the cutest pair of blush pink shoes (ON SALE!) that I’ll be reaching for through the work week and the weekend. I also picked up a couple of other things for the sunny weather, so I felt inspired to share this mini summer inspo post.
How cute are these loafers? These are by my favorite brand for shoes, Lucky Brand. I love how wearable and high-quality all of their designs are!
This particular style, the Chennie Suede Block Heel Loafers in Baroque Rose, is perfect for wearing with a blazer for work or with jeans for some weekend romping. The short and stacked heel makes these comfortable to walk in while still adding a little lift. Retail price is $89USD, but I found these in-store at Belk for $33USD. The link I have shared with you is the only online listing I could find — $53USD on Dillards.com.
I also found this linen top from C&C California. (BTW, what the heck happened to this brand? I used to be able to find their super soft tees all over the place, but it’s like they’ve disappeared.) I love the pastel shades and vertical stripes – I think the top would look great with these loafers and some cropped jeans!
To round out the summer look, I think a glossy highlight would add the right amount of shine to this sunny look. My pick is the Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Beauty Beam Highlighter.
I also thought I’d mention this lovely lotion (received complimentary thanks to Influenster!) meant for extra dry, eczema-prone skin. The summer is not usually associated with flaky skin, thanks to winter-skin stereotypes, but when you have eczema the itchy dryness never really subsides. With the warm weather, we want to be able to show off our smooth, tanned skin, so moisturizing is equally important.
I’m testing out the Lipikar Balm Intense Repair Moisturizing Cream by legendary skincare brand La Roche-Posay. Formulated especially for sensitive, eczema-prone skin, this cream is meant to nourish and balance the most finicky of complexions. I’ll let you know my thoughts on this once I’ve had the time to really test it out.
