Why You Need Bite Beauty’s Prismatic Pearl Multistick in “Oyster Pearl”

Bite Beauty is one of my favorite brands — they are innovative, on-trend, and skin-conscious. Using natural food-grade ingredients, Bite has released “Multisticks,” or products meant to be used as lip, cheek, and eye products (think NARS Multiples!), in a range of beautiful natural hues.

I was so excited to see them create a Prismatic Pearl line of Multisticks – they are amazing duochromatic, glittery washes of color that can be subtle or bold.  I picked up the shade Oyster Pearl, described as “metallic taupe with silver shimmer.” Honestly, that shade description does not do this baby any justice! I see a lot of plummy-red and teal in the mix, making this a dynamic color that you probably don’t already have in your collection.

Stunning. I was so wowed by how multi-dimensional the shade looked both in the tube and swatched out. In texture, it’s thin and has a slight oily slip, but dries down to almost a powder-like finish. Keep in mind that if you’re oily, this will slide around, especially in the eyelid area.

I like how this product transforms based on what it’s layered on top of. You can really experiment and get different effects using just this one product!

The packaging is nice – Bite does a great job of creating sturdy, clean-looking, and minimalist components. I love the satisfaction of the magnetic closure on the tube! While it doesn’t seem like you get a lot of product for $24USD, the stick should take quite a long time to get through, even if you use it quite frequently. It’s compact, convenient, and easy to travel with.

A Minimal Look Using Oyster Pearl

Here’s a simple, glossy look using Oyster Pearl all over my eyelids and as a topper for the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow.
