Makeup Swap || Thank You, Diamonds to Crown!

There is nothing more exciting than receiving a mystery box full of makeup bought especially for you. I received an invite to participate in a makeup swap for bloggers — kind of like a Secret Santa gift exchange — so of course, I had to partake. My makeup package came from the lovely Bethany of Diamonds to Crown. You can check out the other participants here. Special thanks to Mary of Pretty on a Dime for organizing this!I was so thrilled to open the box and see products I had never tried before.

I have never tried anything from the K-Beauty brand Chosunga 22, and I’m so intrigued by the Lip & Cheek tint. I’ve also been itching to test out the Athleisure line from Tarte — I love the idea of products that I can throw in my gym bag if I’m planning to go out after a workout. Interestingly enough, I have watched so many reviews on the Sephora Stylographic liner and I am terrified to try it. I guess we’ll find out if it’s truly as horrifying as Youtubers make it out to be!

This Gym Bag Grabs set from Tarte is SO cute. It comes with four mini products from the Athleisure line: fresh eyes waterproof makeup remover wipes, brighter days highlighting moisturizer, quench lip rescue in Nude, and lifted mascara. So far, I’ve tried the lip butter and the mascara. I love how moisturizing the lip butter is! It’s in such a pretty tube and the color is a universal sheer pink. The mascara is really nice, too. While I have very straight lashes that don’t want to curl, this mascara makes them look so plush and voluminous. I’m sure this would give naturally curled ladies a beautiful full lash look. I will update you on the performance of the wipes and moisturizer later.

I’ve been on a liquid blush kick after trying the Nars liquid blush in Orgasm. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the popular Chosunga 22 brand, but I believe it’s being discontinued at Sephora. I’m excited to see how this performs — I’m a little taken aback by the bright red color, but if K-beauty queens can pull it off, I’ll give it a try.

I think it’ll be a nice product to have for when the weather gets warmer. Liquid blushes tend to last longer and give a nice stained effect as they wear down.

Wasn’t this such a sweet package? I really appreciate Bethany for taking the time to shop for me. These are all products I’m so excited to try out for the first time! Be sure to visit her blog if you’re interested in beauty, lifestyle, DIY, and parenting. She has an adorable family and shares a lot about her experience in raising a beautiful baby girl and her furbabies! I love how she got her blog name, too. Her husband played college baseball, hence the ‘Diamond,’ and she is obsessed with the Royal family.

Bethany also has really great taste in beauty products, as you can tell by her March Favorites list. Be sure to follow her on Instagram and like her on Facebook!

Have you ever participated in a makeup swap? I thought it was so much fun. I really enjoyed shopping for my blogger and sharing beauty products I’ve been obsessed with as of recent. It was equally as fun waiting for the mystery package from my mystery blogger, Bethany!

I can’t wait to play around with this new makeup and I’m unbelievably grateful for her efforts. Don’t forget to check her out and say hello if you liked what you saw!
