I usually like to share posts like this one at the end of the week on a Friday, but I already have an exciting post scheduled for this Friday. This week’s favorites are all over the place, from brand new products to interesting news about galaxies.
You can read ALL about why this is a favorite in the post I shared earlier this month. The metallic shades are some of the most amazing I own, in both quality and color. You can still find this palette on sale for $19.50USD at Nordstrom, Sephora, or Ulta, but you shouldn’t hesitate because it’s selling fast.
This is a long-loved product that works for so many different skin types. I know this because my skin has changed from dry and sensitive, to oily and problematic, and to every possible combination in between. The cream works so well to hydrate the skin without leaving behind any residue or greasy feeling. I love the addition of colloidal oatmeal; it’s so soothing when your skin is distressed!
I received this as part of a makeup swap (you’ll see the official post tomorrow!). My eyelashes are just like my hair — short, straight, and super-fine. I’m very picky with my mascaras because it takes a special formula to give my lashes the lift, curl, length, and volume I desire. That’s why I was so hesitant to try this mascara out! While I can’t speak on its “sweat-proof” qualities, I do absolutely adore the volume and length I get from this mascara. It definitely gives my lashes a little lift, so you can actually see them curl up. This is my new everyday mascara for plush, full lashes.

Okay, this is just so fascinating to me. I found this article in The Skimm and can’t stop thinking about it. What I find so unbelievable is the paradox of its theoretical implications — because this galaxy has little to no dark matter, it confirms the existence of dark matter to begin with. Click the article link for some really sweet pictures from the Hubble telescope! Galaxy makeup inspo?
My mom’s friend just returned from a trip to the Philippines, meaning we have a pantry full of Filipino goodies. Growing up in the New York City area, I had easy access to imported food and traditional Filipino restaurants. I certainly took this for granted, but being able to enjoy these treats at home in South Carolina brings back fond memories of my childhood. I’ve been munching on so many ube snacks, polvorone candies, and dried mangos.
Santa Clarita Diet Season 2 on Netflix
I find myself laughing at the silliest things when watching this show. I’m so glad season 2 has finally been released on Netflix! Drew Barrymore is fabulous and it’s just a nice show to wind down to or giggle at while walking on the treadmill.
What have you been loving recently? I want to know! Reading other people’s favorites is so entertaining, especially when you find that you share a favorite product with someone! Check out my last post about my favorites if you’re interested.
