Mondays don’t have to be soul-sucking. A lot of the dread we feel comes from within, as a sort of reflection of our own insecurities. While affirmation from others is wonderful, giving ourselves the same love in the form of thoughts, words, and actions is equally important. Speaking and thinking positive affirmations provides us with the ability to transform our perspective, which can shift our gear mode from a standstill to a steady start. Give yourself the appreciation you deserve with these five affirmations, guaranteed to positively influence your ability to tackle whatever workload sits on your desk.
- I am talented, I am ready, and I will be successful today.
- I am blessed every day with opportunities to make meaningful impact.
- My fears mean nothing to me; I am using my past to conquer my future.
- I have the ability to transform the lives of others with positive interactions.
- If there is anyone who is able to do this task, it is me.
Take these affirmations and repeat them to yourself. Write them on a sticky note and place them somewhere you often look at. Your laptop, your vanity mirror, or your fridge– any place is a good place to find affirmation. By surrounding yourself with these truths, they become difficult to forget. Most importantly, note that these are not superficial compliments, but truths that you deserve to know. Positive affirmations may seem silly, but I can tell you from my own experience that the strength to tackle the impossible comes from deep within. You are your own best advocate!
Do you use positive affirmations to transform your outlook? Let me know if you do, and be sure to share your own words. As always, I thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say. I hope you have found something useful or at the very least interesting in your visit!
